Simple Sesame Chicken
6 chicken breasts, boneless, skinless 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1/4 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup honey 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1 teaspoon sesame oil 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder 1/2 cup water 1 tablespoon cornstarch 1/2 teaspoon Ginger Powder 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes 1 tablespoon toasted Sesame Seed Directions: 1. Cut chicken into bite size pieces. 2. In a large skillet, cook chicken in vegetable oil until no longer pink, about 5 minutes. 3. Mix together soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic powder, corn starch, ginger, red pepper flakes and water. Whisk until cornstarch is no longer lumpy. 4. Pour sauce mixture into the skillet with the chicken and cook until sauce thickens. 5. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. 6. Cover and simmer for 5-10 minutes. 7. Serve with rice. |
