Thai Spicy Beef Stir Fry 1 pound flank steak 14 (2 ounces) finely chopped Serrano chilies 1/2 cup Thai Spice 1/2 cup Onion Flakes 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 3 tablespoons fish sauce 1 tablespoon granulated sugar 1/2 cup water (more if needed in Step 5) Green lettuce leaves Directions: 1. Slice beef into 1/4 inch strips 2-3 inches long 2. Grind chilies, Thai Spice and Onion Flakes into a coarse paste adding a pinch of oil 3. Heat wok and oil and swish it around wok 4. Add chili and stir until lightly browned 5. Add beef and stir not overcooking 6. Add fish sauce, sugar and water and stir (you will have about 1/2 to 3/4 cup sauce 7. In serving bowl place lettuce leaves to cover bottom and place mixture on top Serves: 6 Prep Time: 15 minutes |
