Our Greek Seasoning is perfect for making your own gyros sauce or for marinating your Mediterranean style chicken gyros or beef, lamb, chicken or pork shisk-ka-bobs. Like our Mediterranean Dry Rub this blend is outstanding on grilled or baked chicken and fish.
Blended from Greek oregano, onion powder, garlic powder, sea salt, black pepper, parsley, Korintje cinnamon and ground nutmeg.
To make your own homemade gyro sauce mix 2 cups of plain Greek yogurt, 1/4 cup chopped cucumber, 2 tablespoons of diced onion and 2 tablespoons of Greek Seasoning.
For shisk kebabs cut beef, chicken, lamb or pork into 1 inch cubes. To make the marinade mix 2 Tablespoons Greek Seasoning, 2 Tablespoons olive oil, 2 Tablespoons lemon juice and 1 Tablespoon of warm water. Place meat in a large, re-sealable plastic bag and be sure that the meat is evenly covered with marinade. Place the meat in the refrigerator and let marinate for 8-12 hours before cooking.
