Thai cuisine has been rapidly growing in popularity in this country and Thai restaurants can now easily be found in cities of all sizes. As with many restaurant menus Thai restaurants tend to gravitate towards rarer ingredients and/ or complicated recipes that are next to impossible to recreate in your home kitchen. But it doesn't need to be so complicated.

Thai cuisine is known for its liberal use of fresh herbs and spices and authentic stir fries, noodle and curry dishes. Mastering Thai cooking, like the ordinary people of Thailand cook and eat at home, is not difficult once you develop a better understanding of the flavor profiles and techniques.

Taste is a key component of all Thai dishes. Thai cuisine is based around five essential flavors: salty, sour, spicy, bitter and sweet. Between three and five of these will in some shape or form, be found in most Thai dishes. The assortment of spices used in Thai cooking results in an exceptional aroma which is the result of the harmonious combination of every part of the dish.

When and Where to Use

Our Spicy Thai Seasoning is perfect for adding delicious Thai flavor to grains, meat, seafood and vegetable based dishes. Using a pre-mixed Thai seasoning is much easier than adding a pinch of this or a dash of that.

Use this spicy seasoning as a dry rub on fish and chicken. To make a quick and easy Thai marinade, add this Thai seasoning into creamy coconut milk (we like to start off with 1 tbsp of spice blend to 1 cup of milk but you can adjust up or down depending on your tastes). We really enjoy using our Spicy Thai Seasoning on Crispy Fish Tacos.

We like to use our Spicy Thai Seasoning when we're looking for a bit more kick, especially in stir fries and as a dry rub for some delicious Thai Chicken Wings.

What's in It

Hand blended from garlic, onion, paprika, lemon, coriander, hot cayenne, white pepper, basil, lemongrass and cilantro.

Flavor Profile

The flavor of our Spicy Thai Seasoning is spicy hot with a decent kick, you also find hints herbiness and citrus.

Take Your Dinner To Bangkok This is a very versatile & flavorful spice blend. I use it in soups and chicken/rice bowls. No need to go to the Thai restaurant with this in the cupboard.

Great flavor I love this seasoning. I've used it on shrimp and chicken. It has some nice heat but not over bearing. I've only grilled with it but plan to try it with some fresh mixed vegetables next

One of my Favorite Chicken Spices This is now one of my favorite salt-free mixes for chicken along with Flipping the Bird and MotherClucker. The cayenne flavor is complex and authentic, and reminds me of aged hot sauces like Tabasco. My favorite use of this mix is to sprinkle it liberally on chicken pieces coated with olive oil, and then roast in the toaster oven for 25 minutes at 350 deg. Outstanding.
