A key herb blend in Mediterranean cuisine, Fines Herbs is a subtle combination of herbs that is certainly not unimaginative. This may be the French's crowning achievement as the delicate nature of this blend enhances dishes without overpowering them. This classic French herb blend sometimes called Fines Herbs and Fine Herbs.This almost sweet seasoning blend is primarily used in egg dishes and is heavenly with baked or sautéed fish, shrimp or chicken, ideal for soup or stocks and is enchanting with roasted chicken. We also like to use it with roasted vegetables, salads, lighter bean dishes and potatoes.
Fines Herbes doesn't work well when added too early in the cooking process as the flavor will quickly dissipate and this is best used as a finisher. This will also add a palate pleasing surprise when substituted anywhere that you would add parsley for color - you dinner guests will be begging for your "secret ingredient".
