Chickens Gone Wild Master Set

Chickens Gone Wild Master Set

With the amount of chicken that Americans consume each year (more than 89 lbs. per person) you are probably constantly searching for ways to add to your chicken flavoring arsenal. One of our most popular spice sets this is ideal for those that consume a lot of chicken.

Here you will find a wide selection that also allows you to grill, roast and broil your bird for even more variety. We like to grill up larger batches on chicken once a week, stick the cooked chicken in the fridge and be able to quickly put together lunches and dinners throughout the week.

This spice set includes:

  1. 18 Spice Chicken Rub - We love to cook chicken whether it’s on the grill or roasted in the oven and we're constantly asked by our customers what are the best spices, herbs and seasonings for chicken. This is one of our newer chicken rubs and flavor combination is a perfect balance of sweet with a hint of a kick. I've found some of my favorite chicken rubs have these intoxicating aromas that are hard to miss when I'm grilling the chicken - this one tops the list.
  2. Honey Chipotle Rub - One of our most popular, this chicken rub has the natural sweetness that only honey can provide along with a faint hint of smoky heat from the chipotle and Spanish paprika. This is a favorite of the kids and those whose palette doesn’t like too much spicy flavor.
  3. Flippin' The Bird - This chicken seasoning blend has an almost magical touch that only dried herbs can give to chicken but it also has a wonderful balance of some subtle sweetness from the granulated honey. This chicken seasoning is great in the oven but is something special when used on the grill.
  4. Shawarma Seasoning - This spice blend originated in northwestern Turkey and Shawarmas are considered a fast food staple in the Middle East and Europe, especially in Germany, think of it almost like a Middle Eastern Taco. Wrapped in pita bread and filled with thinly sliced meat, vegetables and a variety of flavorful sauces. In the markets of Lebanon and Syria these are served on flatbreads instead of pitas.
  5. Jamaican Jerk Seasoning - Jerk rub has a reputation for its subtle heat and this blend won't disappoint. Our Jamaican Seasoning is convenient enough to use in everyday cooking, but is packed with enough special flair to be used for any backyard grilling celebration. Use as a Jamaican Jerk Rub or sprinkle it on chicken, pork, beef, fish, seafood (most definitely on shrimp) before grilling or broiling.
  6. Smoky Molasses Rub - A noticeable yet somewhat mysterious sweetness followed by a smooth earthiness from the garlic and onion. Then you’ll pick up a bit of heat that hits the back of your throat with some lingering citrus notes. As a rule of thumb you should use about 1 tablespoon of dry rub per pound of chicken or pork.
  7. Blackened Seasoning - A classic New Orleans style blackening seasoning this one packs a bit of heat and leaves a wonderful crust on grilled chicken. This is not considered one of our hooter blends but it is also not recommended for those with delicate palettes.
  8. Bahamian Chicken - When it comes to perfectly balancing hot and spicy, sweet and tart, tangy and zesty, Bahamian cooks have an intuitive talent for converting a dish from the plain to the remarkable. To make a marinade combine 3 tablespoons of Bahamian Chicken with 1 cup fresh squeezed lime juice (not from concentrate) and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Good for marinating 3 lbs of chicken.
  9. Pollo Asado - Pollo asado translates to "roasted chicken". Asado is generally considered a cooking technique of open-fire style (or grilling) of cooking meat that uses hardwoods and seasonings for flavor. To marinate 3 lbs of chicken use 1/2 cup of lime (or 2 fresh limes), lemon (2 fresh lemons) and orange (1 medium to large orange) fresh squeezed juice, 1/4 cup of vinegar (apple cider vinegar is more common in Mexican cuisine), and 1/4 cup of Pollo Asado seasoning.
  10. Kickin' Chicken - This is a delightful sweet chicken rub that packs just enough heat (but not too much) and all of the ingredients are finely ground and perfectly hand blended. The reason this is important is to eliminate any flavor explosions.
