Our New Mexico Red Chile Powder presents an earthy, sweet flavor with grassy undertones, with a touch of smoke and raisin and a hint of dried cherries. The pepper we’ve sourced is the NM Guizeppi varietal and is grown, harvested and ground on a farm in Hatch, New Mexico that’s been part of the Lytle family for generations. We’ve selected their fully-ripened chiles for our New Mexico Red Chile Powder.
It delivers a mild heat, ringing in at 800-1,400 Scoville Heat Units.
