Yucatan Recado Rojo Rub Yucatan, Recado Rojo Pollo Asado, and Adobo, with roasted chicken, baked chicken and even fresh made bread, cheese and seasonings. The results were amazing. I loved them all. The Yucatan has a strong flavor I adore perhaps best of the four upon further review, but the strong flavor profile of cumin, cinnamon and cloves (with achiote I love--use annatto seeds a lot). I love to cook, but I find I don't want the "strong" flavor everyday. I think I like the subtlety of the Manzanillo is less powerful yet complex flavor.

Yucatan Recado Rojo Rub I have used this twice. First, on a Delmonico steak, which included deglazing the sauce pan with Yellow Tail Shiraz, butter enrichment, and Mediterranean Cyprus Flake Salt. A marriage made in heaven! The flavors with the wine reduction were amazing! 2nd time was as rub for the pork loin & sauerkraut for New Year's Day. I used less, and the other ingredients were pretty powerful - it all settled down into a very flavorful and delicious meal.
