Smoky good
Very smoky. The pepper is spicy when simmered and grilled. Has a coarse grind so might need to grind it for topping salads, etc.

One of our favorite spices
This is one of our favorite spices. We use it a lot in BBQ and in stews. The smoke flavor is not overly strong which is a plus. it adds just a hint of smokiness which is great for a BBQ rub.
