Hatch Chile Powder is great! We used in our tamale sauce to rave reviews! Only things is ... in order to get free shipping, I ordered a small package of Green Chile powder. The Green Chile powder did not arrive, but a sample of Pennsylvania Pepper did. What happened?

Hatch New Mexico Green Chile Powder

Wonderful chile powder.
Bought this along with the red hatch chile powder. It definitely has a hotter profile than the red. Wonderful aroma. Used in a batch of tamales and flavor held up well. Looking forward to further experimentation! The conversion of tablespoon to chile seems to be right on.

Many uses
I have been using this in various recipes where I like to intensify or add the flavor of green peppers. This is a very mild Chile but lots of flavor.

Mellow flavor with a bit of heat!
This is very good and I've made it as part of my chili recipe over chipotle powder. It's a bit less spicy than chipotle but very good. I will certainly get this again when I run out.
