First Time user of Smoked Paprika
I'll admit this is my first time ever using Smoked Paprika, I made Beef Jerky (another first) and I may have under seasoned the meat. But it did come out with a very light hint of smoke. My wife even went back for seconds and that's rare! Don't get me wrong we both liked the end result.
I wanted the Smokey Flavor but as I stated I think I under seasoned. (1 tsp of Smoked Paprika to one pound of meat)
Coconut Aminos, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Smoked Paprika, Pepper. The three stars is more about my lack of skill then the quality of the product. I just need to adjust the recipe seasoning! I'll update after my next try.

Too much
Whatever the smoked flavor is, it's too much. The paprika flavor is masked and lost. Side comment: Rating 1-5 stars seems silly for spices as it's purely a matter of personal taste. Maybe just have a place for comments and 1-5 stars for the business overall in a separate place? The spice was packaged well, the bottle was full, and the shipment came quickly, even with Covid-19.

Disappointed by "funk" smell
La Vera Smoked Sweet Paprika, tried it since it seemed "special". Quite disappointed by a strong chemical note, like a petroleum product or what is often called "funk". This is popular with some, particular in Europe, but not with me.
