This is a very good all purpose peppery seasoning mix. Takes very little and you can put it on just about anything. Great on avocado toast.

I have used this spice with several different foods, found it very versatile.
The heat level is moderate, the aromatics do come thru, great on melon.

Doesn't taste like Shichimi Togarashi at all.
I've been pleased with the various spices I purchased from Spices Inc so far, but I'm extremely disappointed with how Shichimi Togarashi turned out.
It doesn't look or taste anything at all like the authentic one I bought and used up before I purchased this one from Spices Inc. I think it's missing some very important ingredients which give Shichimi Togarashi its distinct flavor.
I'm extremely disappointed.
