Great in every way!
These were the perfect seasoning for my chili con carne. I have been using ran out of my stash of Anaheim chiles, so I decided to try your ground version. Just the right amount of low and slow burn--and much easier to use, just open the bottle and measure.

Things have changed a lot since my grandmother and mother made Italian sausage using Anaheim or New Mexico Chiles for the mild portion of the pepper. New Mexico chiles seem to have got hotter and I can't use as much pepper as the recipe calls for, Dried Anaheim are hard to find. California doesn't taste quite right. I've been searching for 20 for a pepper that made the sausage I remember. This, finally, is what I was looking for

This website had the best price for these chiles. To re-hydrate them, I soaked them in hot water for 20 minutes. Wonderful, earthy flavor and not "spicy" like chile peppers. Would be good in the food processer for salsa or marinade.

I have used dry chili’s many times . One never knows what you are going to get from old, dry , brittle, flavorless to this works . These chili’s were by far the freshest , pliable and flavorful I have ever purchased . Well done Spice Guys !!!
