Onion soup mix - another great use
I made some basic white rice last night and it occurred to me to add a couple of shakes of the Onion Soup Mix. Didn't use much at all, maybe just 2 shakes, but it came out so flavorful.

It is very versatile. I use it in soups as well as in chicken salad and many other dishes.. A wonderful onion flavor that compliments just about anything you want to pair it with!! Thanks for a great product!!

However, I just reread the ingredients and it includes celery salt. I thought this mixture was salt free.

The flavor is good... but I use this for my roasts and meat in a crock pot, and the turmeric gives it an ugly orange color rather than a warm brown meaty color.... Ditch the turmeric in it (not needed anyway) and it would be perfect.
