The best I have found with limited experience
There was a spice shop I used to frequent in a farmer's market type setting years ago. They had Mexican oregano, along with a myriad of other spices and such.
They have long ceased to exist. Since then I made do with Mediterranean oregano.
This product is better than from the other source. More fragrant and fresher near as I can recall. The texture is just right too.

Great option
Mexican oregano is a nice savory alternative to sweet Mediterranean oregano. Different flavor profile, nice option.
