Cooking with Rose Petals.....
In my first try I added them to white rice, thinking the rice would not overpower the rose petals. It was a disappointing experiment because I couldn't detect any change in either the taste or the aroma of the rice. Next time I will try adding more. Perhaps that will make the difference discernable?

Was happy to find this,
Was happy to find this, but it arrived with the "free gift" that stunk up my roses! Sorry, but lime chillies with roses is not cool. I want to smell ROSES and I can't use; have had to set aside most of the petals for smelling so gross. I am allergic to chillies and their scent permeated the whole shipping package. For the next customer, please re-think doing this. Thanks.

Organic Culinary Rose Petals
Beautiful scent; very nicely packaged; Petals NOT crushed into pieces; packaging sufficient and protective. I used these to make Rose Confit to use as a side condiment for my Brioche (alongside w/Lemon Almond Cream as another condiment choice) and not only was it a very attractive Confit, but the taste was wonderful! Not overwhelmingly floral, as some products made w/Rose Water or Rose Petals can be if one is not careful. Homemade Rose Water was made as well, eliminating my having to buy it all the time. The Rose Confit was also used as a filler in White sponge cupcakes; frosted w/ Champagne Buttercream. Everyone loved them.
