Has a mild taste, not over powering. I put the rub in my sauce that is spread over the chicken. The rub has a nice flavor and not too spicy.

This rub is not one of my favorites but that is purely a tast preference
It is a little to smokey for me
I tend to like more southern style rubs. I'm sure others would like it.
