Hill Country Chili Powder Spicy and flavorful, it does everything a chili powder is meant to do and probably more.

Nice Job... Really balanced.. Great Job on the Chilli Powder... Did the recipe and yes that was easy and much better than the box.... I would say try 1 1/2 tablespoon to 2 for more kick or grab some red chilli spice to flame on... Cheers

Surprisingly Good Honestly, I purchased this HOPING it would be good and take a little of the experimentation out of making chili from different ground chilis and other spices. When I saw Spices Inc.'s "simple chili recipe" using Hill Country I thought one table spoon per lb of meat was too little. However, after making a batch it was surprisingly good. I confess I added an additional half tablespoon of the Hill country and a half TBS of their ground Chipotle power, but no additional cumin, which I usually use. The chili turned out excellent. Can't recommend this enough.

Best Chili Ever I've been making my own chili for 40 years. I went from buying and using the famous brands of complete chili "fixins" to buying ground chili (or even grinding my own). I've bought a good bit of ground chilis from Spices Inc, but decided I wanted to try the Hill Country seasoning to make some chili. I was a little incredulous about their recipe, one tbs of Hill Country to a pound of meat (and the attendant ingredients) - thought it would have a nice, strong chili flavor. I made a 2 lbs of meat recipe and wound up using just 2.5 tbs of Hill Country. This wound up making some of the absolute best chili I've ever had (I confess I did also add a half tbs of Spices Inc.'s ground chipotle as well). Wonderful stuff, highly recommended.

Hill country chili powder has Hill country chili powder has a mild yet spicy flavor that enhanced any chili, soup or rub you can make. It’s on my new favorite list.

Had some leftover dried Peruvian Had some leftover dried Peruvian Beans (Canary Beans) and decided to make bean soup. Added Hill Country Chili Powder to it to see what flavor enhancement it would bring. Great taste with a touch of heat..definitely improved the soup. Because the soup was not as complex as other dishes, I did notice the slight flavor of all spice.
