Dried Orange Peel
We ordered the dried orange peel to use in a cranberry orange sourdough bread recipe. The recipe includes orange juice and grated orange peel. We were hoping the dried orange peel would have enough flavor to substitute for fresh grated orange peel. Sorry to say that the dried orange peel didn't serve up a great flavor, but as it is dried, I didn't expect it to be the same as fresh grated orange peel. Best use would be to reconstitute the dried orange peel before adding it to recipes to get the most flavor.
