Good...but not habaneros
Having tried and really enjoyed the crushed habanero chile flakes, I gave the Scotch Bonnet chile flakes a whirl. While touted as essentially having the same Scoville heat index as the habaneros, I didn't find them as hot, nor as tasty; lacking the fruitiness that I so enjoy with habaneros. Like all peppers, each has its own unique taste and heat characteristics and one kind may appeal over another for a variety of reasons. Wouldn't it be boring if they all tasted the same.
