Great Base for Chili
I soak these peppers in hot water until soft. The stems and seeds are removed and the soaking water is strained. The peppers are then ground using my immersion blender in the soaking water. This is the base for my chili recipe.

Having grown up in New Mexico, it’s hard to find certain chiles to my standards in NC. I try growing them but the humid and wet conditions of my farm don’t seem to provide the proper conditions. I use chiles as an ingredient, as a vegetable rather than a spice. These guajillo as well as the several others I purchased have the flavor and quality of home. Furthermore, there are chilies available that I had trouble sourcing in NM. I will order again and I make sure to tell anyone and everyone about your products and variety. Thank you.
