It is well balanced and I use it on everything not just meat. I really love the addition of the tumeric. It had just the right amount of heat. I will definitely be ordering this spice again. I really enjoy it.

While living abroad, so I never should have considered using this blend to season anything other than meat. Still, I was looking for a blend that I could use to add some zest to spaghetti squash and eggs (weekday dinners are basically whatever I find in the pantry). The ingredients in this blend jumped out at me, so I said "what the heck" and went for it. The shawarma blend, cooked with some onions and peppers, is awesome!
I should add that I've also used this blend on meat, with delicious, authentic-tasting results.
