Moroccan Vegetable Rub Great rub-- easy to use by itself. Also makes an excellent marinade, tossing it with a little lemon juice, garlic oil & bit of honey. Excellent flavor!

Moroccan Vegetable Rub I didn't find it to be my favorite. I should have gotten an idea of what to use it on before I just used it all willy nilly on my greens.

Moroccan Vegetable Rub Honestly, it is just okay. The cinnamon is a little over powering at times, but I have a feeling this would actually go very well with cauliflower which is something I have yet to try. One thing I did find this spice good with was meat actually.

My kitchen can't live without it! This seasoning is the perfect blend of Moroccan flavors. I had the opportunity to live in Rabat for 2 years while my husband was posted there. During this tour we had some of the most amazing culinary experiences of our lives. But in truth, it was the daily flavors our friends would share that made the most lasting impressions. For example this simple soup I recreated thanks to Spices, Inc.: I prep all my left over vegetables from the fridge at the end of the week (carrots, turnips/potatoes, cabbage, bell peppers, squash, spinach, cauliflower, tomato, onions, and garlic) and throw them in a large stock pot. Then I cover them with fresh water, bring it to a boil, and let it simmer for 3-4 hours. Then I add as much of this Moroccan vegetable rub (2-4 T) and Berbere (1-2 t) seasoning as I want, to taste. I then use an immersion blender to puree and CAN add some sour cream, creme fraiche, plain yogurt, or cream, though I am lactose intolerant and generally skip this step. This the most flavorful soup and a great way to get more veggies into your life. Eat with bread or by itself. Enjoy!!!
