I was in love! The most wonderful, complex seasoning---I started out using it in my eggs in the morning, soon it was everywhere. It does have a bite, but if you are used to spicy foods, you MUST try this!

This is by far the top of my list for flavor. I used it to make the chicken thigh and green bean recipe and Berbere lentil stew recipes listed on this site. I initially bought the 4 ounce package. In 2 weeks it was gone. I ordered the 1 pound bulk with my 2nd order!!!!

Yes, it may sound unusual, but a dusting of berbere spice over the cheese in a toasted cheese sandwich makes a treat that is wonderfully complex and spicy.
