It was good I used this rub for the first time on boneless, butterflied center cut pork chops for warm sandwiches and I liked it. I didn't get any heat . I could taste a slightly sweet, smoky taste. I will continue to buy it. What I really liked about it was that I tend to use a lot of seasoning on purpose and some times the salt in a seasoning will be to strong. In this case I didn't get to much salt at all. I might buy some granulated honey to add on my own to some of my hotter spices.

Enough honey Not enough Chipotle!!! I enjoyed this rub. It's sweet and has a great taste. I just think it needs some more Chipotle to balance the sweetness. Definitely recommend this

Honey Chipotle Rub The flavors on this one are TOO subtle. Can't really taste the honey nor the chipotle, and you don't get the crystallization you would with actual honey. Not the worst, but you'd have to dump a ton on to really taste it. I could see this being in a soak overnight marinade perhaps, but not great as a normal rub.

Honey Chipotle Rub I should not have messed around with this already really good rub, but I did today. I added ground ginger, cinnamon, and turmeric to chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on) and rubbed them down refrigerating about 4 hours. Then I cooked them in a tajine. Temperature began at 325 for 25 minutes and then increased to 350 for about another 25 minutes. I let it rest and then served with rice and sauteed green beans and onions. I could open a food truck with this dish, it was that good.

Honey Chipotle Rub We also mixed it in with some coffee and cocoa for a beef tenderloin and the smoky sweet balance was perfection.

Honey Chipotle Rub We also suggest as a seasoning for sweet potatoes. One day we were at an event and I decided to make a new dip and stirred it into sour cream. Winner, winner, chicken dinner and much better than honey mustard for chicken strips.
