When you're out of fresh onions
I was out of vidial onions and white onions too. So , I tried the toasted minced onion I had made a purchase of & my pepper steak was just as delicious in using toasted minced onions as fresh onions.

California Toasted Minced Onion
OMG, I can say enough good things about this. Firstly, the jar came absolutely FULL to the top (not half empty like the ones in a grocery store) and they are potent too. Use only a little and it goes a long way. I made the mistake thinking they would be just like the ones in the store - boy, was I wrong.... they are fresh and wayyyyyy better!

The Good Stuff
If roasted garlic is to your liking this is the real McCoy. Great robust flavor with just the right amount of roasting. Along with cracked black pepper and roasted minced onions this is great when preparing steak the night before and gives you bites of garlic as you consume.
