The purchase was so worth it. I tried a spanish saffron....not so good! This was by far the superior product

But after extensive testing I could not get rid of a kind of wierd aftertaste that showed me clearly that it is obviously an inferior grade dressed up as better, but in fact, much, much worse. The seller clearly has been hoodwinked by the farmers as too what has been doctored to this product, I am guessing, but I would say it has been mixed with tumeric powder.
