The roasting brings out a much more palatable flavor and makes this ideal for cooking, adding to oils for dipping, salsas, etc.. Highly recommend for garlic lovers!

California Toasted Garlic
It is good, but very strong. One must use sparingly, unless wanting a strong garlic flavor. It arrived in double bags as all spices from SpiceInc, but the smell of garlic easily came through. The local Post Office employees questioned me as to why my package had their work area smelling of garlic. I explained and we had a laugh. Testimonial as to how strong it is.

Roasted Granulated Garlic
But it could stand to be toasted a bit darker to really bring out the smoky flavor. You can always just take your regular garlic and dry roast in in a frying pan over medium heat to get the same result as this.
