I salted the chicken before I cooked it, as this is a salt free mix. Excellent! The sweet spices really come through, even when salted.

Marinated my boneless skinless chicken thighs, put in fridge for about 5 hrs., then baked in the convection oven since we have no stove. We are full time RVers.

The aroma was enticing and we used it as a seasoning for fried chicken however the aroma was not equal to the flavor once the chicken was cooked. We found that the chicken needed salt once it was done. Maybe it holds up better with grilling rather than frying but this has not been an issue in the past.

Not so great unfortunately
I was not crazy about this chicken spice it had some spices I just didn’t care for something was over powering. It was just too strong and I ended up throwing it all out. I’d like everything else I’ve ever gotten from this company so I was a little disappointed.

18 Spice Chicken Rub
I am a long time customer and Spices Inc is my spice merchant of choice. I found this to be a little too earthy probably because of the ancho and pasilla being the first and maybe the most ingredients. It was a bit hot. Again the heat profile overpowered some of the other spices. It does have a strong "Latin" flavor. The cumin would do that. I probably wouldn't buy it again. I have most of the spices included in my pantry and would try my hand at something similar.
