Diggin' these!
These are my favorite dried chilies so far (with the Anchos a close second). You just cant beat that smoky aroma and flavor. I'm looking spicy flavor not face melting heat and these hit the spot! Second purchase from spices inc. and so far very happy with the quality and service!

Chipotle Meco Chiles
I combined them with my home grown dried peppers
and ground the mixture. Result: Success - a smoky interesting flavor. Just what I wanted; a spice to sprinkle on meats for sandwiches as well as adding to soups and other dishes.

amaziing flavor!
I bought these chiles to make a new hot sauce for my restaurant. They are nice and smoky and provide the perfect amount of heat. I highly recommend these chiles.

Great smokey and earthy flavor, super hot for jalapeños too.
This was my first time using mexo chipotles and was pleasantly surprised. I like the super smokey, rich and earthy flavors plus they’re extra hot too. I made 2 batches of tepache amd used a giant one of these cut in half in container and 3 De Arbol chiles in the other. The meco batch was much spicier and the tepache was the best I ever made. I also rehydrate these and can them in page batches so I can readily add their robust flavor to any dish.

The real thing
Have not used them yet, but the smoky aroma tells me they are not artificially flavored as promised, but actually put through the wood smoking process as I used years ago. The genuine smoked ones are hard to find in the grocery stores here any more - even Hispanic stores. Glad to have found these on Spices, Inc. Thanks!!
