shallots
excellent flavor and best price . Bought 2 lbs and they are going fast. Mixed some in mashed potatoes for and on sauted veggies. flavor. I use them to build sauce flavor. These are good as any I've tried and at a much lower price.

dried shallots
a pantry staple, I add these to everything from soups & stews to beans & pasta; I've even re-hydrated them, then added to steaks & stirfries. Nutritionally high in quercetin, excellent source of dietary fiber; however, very mild flavor (add onion powder or onion granules if you want strong flavor). 1 pound fits in a quart mason jar & doesn't last long around here!
