There is nothing wrong with
There is nothing wrong with the chiles; however, they are not what I thought I was ordering. My sister-in-law, who was from Mexico City, made a sauce from chile pasilla that was black, somewhat resembling mincemeat. She had warned me that there was a difference in what was sometimes referred to as chile pasilla in the U.S. The sauce I made from the chiles I ordered from you was red.

Chilies for Mole
I recent purchased 3 different chilies to make Mole for my wife's birthday, I have always struggling getting the correct chilies, I never knew how many chilies were mislabeled, and I also struggled getting chilies that are fresh. These chilies were not only correct but they were the freshest chilies I ever worked with. They took this years mole to a whole new level and the free spice pack they gave with my order was great. I will be order from here again and again.

Great chilies!
I ordered several varieties of dried chilies to refill my spice pantry. The chilies were all large and in great shape (stems and seeds attached). I made a pork stew with a simple sauce with these chilies and it was fantastic!

peppers for mole
Best peppers for mole. the quality is far superior to Whole Foods or other local markets. They have a somewhat flexible and shiny texture. Still containing the oils necessary for a good sauce.
