But not as spicy as traditional red pepper flakes this pepper is perfect. In sausages, tomato sauce or sprinkled right on pizza, amazing. Plus the aroma is wonderful!

I am a huge fan. It just adds another nuance to whatever you are having. I just gave a bag to my best friend. She now has a shaker of this on her table. I like a mix of peppers as each hits the tongue differently. You will be pleased with this. An Italian chef turned me on to this several years ago.

Aleppo Pepper
It has a mild heatness level compared to other chile type pepper, almost smoky and very rich. We use it as a base for Harissa and the Spices Inc Aleppo pepper is fresh and pungent. It's a very good brand of Aleppo. If you haven't tried this pepper before, purchase some and try it with carrots. It's teriffic. We also use it in chicken recipes.
