Packaging Options

The default packaging for our Custom Blending Program is bulk bag-in-box packaging at quantities of 50 pounds per bag/box. Bag-in-box packaging is comprised of a double-walled cardboard box lined with a 4-millimeter thick, food-quality, water-resistant bag, fastened by a zip tie to prevent spilling or environmental damage. 

Custom blending clients also have the option to have their product co-packaged into one of our retail-friendly jar options through our Private Labeling service. The current list of jar packaging solutions is as follows:

• 5.5 oz plastic jar; dual-flapper lid with a full pour side and a 3-hole sifter side; 4.74 inch height, 2.00 inch diameter; 48 mm lid
• 4 oz glass jar; solid cap lid with a 5-hole sifter; 4.10 inch height, 1.87 inch diameter; 48 mm sifter, 48 mm cap
• 8.4 oz plastic jar; dual-flapper lid with a full pour side and a 3-hole sifter side; 4.95 inch height, 2.24 inch diameter; 53 mm lid

Jars are shipped as cases within double-walled cardboard boxes. The 4-ounce glass jars are further packaged with protective dividers in the case to prevent breakage accompanied by crinkle paper packaging in each larger box to minimize shifting during shipment.
