I typically don’t write reviews but after our recent delivery I cannot resist. We purchased these Chilies specifically for enchilada sauce. Usually the ones I find around town are teeny tiny and so old they crumble to a dust when touched. These from Spices were gigantic and the flesh/meat of the chili was fresh. They roasted well and after a quick boil turned into these beautiful, plump meaty chilies unlikes I’ve ever seen. Never made a better sauce- we also added some Mexican oregano that we purchased - WOW! Thank you!

Not that I'm very experienced with these things...
Just made a batch of adobo sauce for a barbacoa chicken attempt. The dried chilis were supple as they were supposed to be and had a depth of flavor that was interesting. I don't know anything about dried chilis, just getting into Mexican cooking, as there are no decent Mexican restaurants where I live in Nova Scotia. Web site is very well laid out and informative. The peppers I bought seem to be of excellent quality. Looking forward to new culinary adventures.

The chiles are in perfect shape, ready to use however I want. They are all flat so they're easy to toast. None are mummified.

Dried Chili-a-holic
I literally have lost count as to how many different chilies we've gotten from Spices Inc. ALL are just down right amazing, and the Ancho chili is no exception. These are used in a multitude of dishes but these shine in our BBQ dry rub.
