Solid, dependable
The Ancho chile powder is lighter in color, but has good rich flavor and aroma. Enough 'heat' to notice, but not so much as to hinder use in dishes that use it in larger quantity for color and thickening.

Great find
I haven't had a chance to use my ancho chile powder yet, but I know I will enjoy it. All I can find in local grocery stores (even directly on the border with Mexico) is pasilla chile powder. Ancho is milder, which is why I ordered it.

Ancho Chili Powder
Excellent product and healthy at zero sodium per serving. I ordered this when I realized the store product I was buying had close to 9,000 mg sodium in a 2.87 oz jar. This has a better taste and is much healthier. I will be ordering another 1 pound bag shortly!

A Little Chili
A little ground Ancho Chili in almost everything adds sparkle. Sauteed vegetables, grilled chicken, salad dressing, scrambled eggs get a flavor boost with a little Ancho zing.
