Honey Peri Peri
Honey Peri Peri
Honey Peri Peri is a sweet-and-spicy, salt-free, MSG-free seasoning blend. It is also called honey piri piri, honey pilipili, honey peri peri seasoning, honey peri peri spice, peri peri honey seasoning, or sweet peri peri.
This seasoning blend is a “swicy” take on piri-piri (or peri-peri, or pili-pili) seasoning. It is inherently spicy-hot from the chile powders in the blend, but the honey flavor tempers the heat.
Honey Peri Peri is often sought after by:
- sauce, marinade, snack food, meal kit, and frozen food manufacturers;
- American, African, and fusion-style restaurants;
- meal prep companies;
- independent spice shops; and
- olive oil shops
We also have conventional Peri Peri Seasoning available.
Flavor Profile
Honey Peri Peri is sweet and fiery, with notes of smoke and citrus.
How To Use
Honey Peri Peri seasoning is surprisingly versatile for a spicy blend. Use it in the marinade when making African Style Braised Chicken Bowls. It’s wonderful on vegetables and shines on Sweet and Fiery Carrot Risotto, and also makes a terrific Honey Peri Peri Sauce. Use it instead of standard Peri Peri Seasoning when making Halloumi Burgers. Swap it in when making Grilled Tofu Skewers, or use it to give a Classic Burger with Cheese a whole new, spicy-sweet twist.
Honey Peri Peri goes well with chicken, beef, eggs, cheese, vegetables, tofu, rice, and seafood, and adds flavor to marinades, sauces, dressings, and dips.
