Who We Serve
Our sweet spot is helping small food businesses thrive. From independent shops to restaurants and craft food manufacturers, we work to meet our business customers’ needs by providing them with a full complement of raw spices and seasoning blends in bulk sizes. We can even do custom spice blends if you want to delegate out the task of making your signature secret ingredient.
Many of our customers run lean operations. In addition to top-quality spices, they need a high level of responsive and engaged customer service to help them minimize their worries while they maximize inventory turns and cash flow.
Specialty Shops
Our Specialty customers run the gamut. They can be independent spice stores, olive oil shops, or kitchenware stores. They can also be small-scale food creators or vendors, who sell everything from chocolates to cheeses to Alaskan-caught salmon. Some of our spices and seasonings are used in food preparation and some are purchased for resale. All of these customers place a high premium on just-in-time delivery due to their small footprint.
Restaurants
The fast-paced world of restaurant work is ever-changing. We aim to provide the best quality in-demand products to our customers in easy-to-use commercial kitchen sizes. We dedicate time to trend analysis and research and development for upcoming specialty spices or seasonings.
Food Manufacturers
We work with a vast array of food manufacturers, from craft hot sauce businesses to companies that create prepackaged dinners, tortilla chips, or frozen pizza. They are always looking for high-quality ingredients in bulk sizes so they can stay on their production schedule and consistently create top-notch goods.
Seasoning Companies
Spice and seasoning companies tend to be smaller, start-up-style businesses. They establish themselves by setting up booths at farmers’ markets, or they launch a website and retail online. These companies are interested in variety, and want both staple spices and seasoning blends so they can offer their customers many choices.
Micro Brewers
Breweries come in a wide range of sizes, from the small-scale starter nano brewery to the gastropub to the microbrewery. These facilities are typically looking for seasonal spices and seasonings ahead of other manufacturers, to allow their products the time necessary to process. They place a premium on availability as they have tight production schedules to keep.
Craft Distillers
Craft distilling has been growing steadily in interest and frequency over the last several years. While similar to breweries, they tend to be smaller, are looking for high-quality single ingredients, and have no-nonsense production schedules.
