Chop House Burger Seasoning
Chop House Burger Seasoning
Our Chop House Burger Seasoning is a bold and aromatic blend that elevates a regular grilled burger. It is also known as burger house seasoning, chop house burger, or chophouse seasoning.
There aren't many things more American than a great hamburger, or so we think. They’ve been part of the American food and advertising landscape since the late 1800s, though there are so many origin stories for hamburgers that definitive attribution is difficult. It seems clear that it’s got European roots. A 1758 cookbook published in Dublin in 1758 has a recipe for the German-style “Hamburg sausage”, a minced meat sandwich which German sailors had developed a taste for while on shore in Baltic ports.
Chop House Burger Seasoning is popular with seasoning companies, olive oil and spice shops, barbecue and Mexican restaurants, delis, diners, manufacturers of sauces, packaged meats, jams, and meal mixes.
Flavor Profile
It has a mellow saltiness, an onion and garlicky bite, and a subtle sweetness
How to Use
We recommend one tablespoon of seasoning per pound of meat, but our blends tend to be quite potent so go slow and add more if needed. Adding the seasoning after the burgers have already been formed helps keep the meat from being overworked, so season your burgers just before cooking. Try sprinkling Chop House Burger Seasoning in ground beef at your next barbecue, or add it to these juicy Grilled Turkey Burgers. This versatile blend is also good on poultry, so try it on One Pan Roasted Chicken and Vegetables.
