Fajita Seasoning
Fajita Seasoning
Fajita Seasoning, also sometimes called fajita seasoning bulk, fajitas seasoning or fajita spices, is an MSG-free seasoning blend that delivers the warmth of the fajita, the beloved Tex-Mex classic.
Fajitas originated in Texas in the 1930s, with Mexican cowboys called vaqueros. Vaqueros were often given what were considered at the time to be the less desirable parts of the cow, including the skirt steak, or faja. The vaqueros began cooking thin strips of faja over an open flame, and the fajita was born.
Businesses that frequently use our Fajita Seasoning are Mexican restaurants; independent spice shops; olive oil shops; and seasoning companies.
Flavor Profile
Robust and woody but not overly spicy, with bright notes of pepper and citrus.
How To Use
Start with classic Beef Fajitas, then branch out and use this to make chicken, vegetable, or shrimp fajitas. Try some Fajita Lasagna, a delicious Tex-Mex take on this beloved recipe. Use to season tacos, Taco Stuffed Zucchini, or vegetarian Jackfruit Tacos. Stir into Sweet Pepper Relish or make a complex, spicy stuffed Chile Relleno.
Use this blend in salsa, pico de gallo, in vinaigrettes, on grilled vegetables, chicken, fish, or beef. Add to black or kidney beans, roasted chickpeas, cauliflower, broccoli, or on grilled tropical fruits like papaya, mango, or pineapple.
