Garlic Salt
Garlic Salt
Garlic Salt is an MSG-free seasoning salt that is blended from just two all-natural ingredients—sea salt and garlic. This all-around popular seasoned salt is one of the first blends we made. It is also known as bulk garlic salt, garlic salt bulk, or garlic salt blend.
Garlic’s long history began in central Asia, in the region that runs between Mongolia and the Caspian Sea. It has been in cultivation for more than 4,000 years, and was found in King Tut’s tomb, circa 1325 BCE. It has been considered a revered spice, a sign of low breeding, and a channel for folk magic.
Garlic Salt is frequently purchased by barbecue restaurants, delis, and food trucks; seasoning companies; independent spice shops; olive oil shops; and sauce manufacturers.
Flavor Profile
Garlic salt tastes salty with a pungent, garlicky bite.
How to Use
Garlic Salt is delicious in a Grilled Sirloin Salad Bowl, or as a flavor base for a dry rub for brisket. Garlic Salt works wonderfully with hearty foods, so use it on pork roast or mutton. It’s also great with starchy vegetables like Grilled Baby Red Potatoes with Herbs de Provence, or add some to mashed potatoes, wedges, or hash browns. Garlic Salt adds a pungent kick to easy summer dishes like Garbanzo Bean Salad, or mixed into a compound butter for your corn on the cob. Sprinkle Garlic Salt over popcorn.
This is the perfect seasoning blend for all things beef. Try it on roasts, in hamburger meat, in chili, mixed in with beef enchilada filling, or in the meat layered into lasagna. It’s great in sour cream as a chip dip, or in marinades, dressings, casseroles, mac and cheese, sausages, stews, soups, gravies, pizza, and pasta.
