Seasoned Salt
Seasoned Salt
Seasoned salt, also called seasoned salt, season salt or seasoning salt, is an MSG-free spice blend that is made up of salt and other spices. These other spices vary depending on who is making the blend and can be used wherever salt is used.
Is seasoning salt the same thing as table salt? The short answer is no, but it may end up replacing the salt you keep on the table. Some seasoning salts are made with pink or black salts but we wanted ours to have a classic sea salt base.
Frequent buyers of Seasoned Salt are BBQ restaurants; sandwich shops; brew pubs; independent spice shops; olive oil shops; and seasoning companies.
Flavor Profile
Our Seasoned Salt is well-rounded; it is salty and sweet with woodsy, bitter, and herbaceous notes.
How to Use
Seasoned Salt is appropriate anywhere that salt is called for. Try it in savory foods such as Baked Eggs Florentine and Spinach and Mushroom Crepes. Add it to a Classic Burger with Cheese at your next cookout and then sprinkle it over your French fries. Put it on Sweet Potato Skins. Season Pork Burritos with Seasoned Salt, or take some and dress up Chicken Broccoli Pesto Pizza.
Sprinkle Seasoned Salt over salads or stir into dressings. Add to popcorn. Make it your secret ingredient in cocktails like the Salty Dog or the Paloma. Seasoned Salt is a versatile ingredient that’s a great base for specialty seasoning blends, cocktail garnishes, as a quick brine, in breads and crackers, over hummus, baba ghanoush, spinach dip, or guacamole, to finish meats, and over all sorts of vegetables.
