Certifications
Safe Quality Food (SQF) - Spices, Inc. is a Safe Quality Food (SQF)-certified facility. This certification means we have undergone a third-party audit that declares we have developed a culture that promotes and maintains high-quality food safety standards among our employees and with our customers as we handle, prepare, and process product for public consumption. 
ASTA - Spices, Inc. is a member of the American Spice Trade Association (ASTA), who works through policy, regulation, and best practices to guarantee the American consumer is provided with unadulterated, safe herbs and spices.
Organic Certificate (PDF) - Our organic spices, herbs, chiles and seasonings meet strict USDA NOP (National Organic Program) standards. Spices, Inc. undergoes an annual Organic Certification audit by Natural Food Certifiers.
Kosher Certificate (PDF) - The kosher certification verifies that the ingredients, production process, and/or food-service process complies with the standards of kashrut (Jewish dietary law) as stipulated in the Shulchan Arukh, the benchmark of religious Jewish law. Spices, Inc. undergoes an annual Kosher Certification audit by Natural Food Certifiers.
GMO Guard Certificate (PDF) - The NFC GMO Guard system achieves the “no-GMO” verification needs for the entire food chain, from farm to table. Spices, Inc. undergoes an annual GMO Guard Certification audit by Natural Food Certifiers.
Allergen Statement/Declaration (PDF) - Spices, Inc. Standard Operating Procedures ensure there is no cross-contamination of allergens. These SOPs contain actions addressing segregation of allergen materials and products from non-allergen items, specialized cleaning and sanitation for allergen use equipment, documentation of the allergen process upon batch records and production worksheets.
Document Requests - Product Specification sheets are available on each individual product page. Certificates of Analysis (COAs) are available upon request. At present, seasoning blend COAs are organoleptic. Lot-specific testing may be requested at an additional cost with a 1–2 week lead time.
