Deep South Dry Rub
Deep South Dry Rub is an MSG-free seasoning blend that is also referred to as deep south seasoning, deep south bbq, or pulled pork rub.
This blend is a warm and family-friendly example of sweet and spicy, and is perfect as a BBQ rub or for backyard grilling.
Deep South Dry Rub is frequently purchased by BBQ restaurants; catering companies; independent spice shops; and olive oil shops.
Flavor Profile
Deep South Dry Rub is sweet, warm, and earthy, with a friendly dose of savory heat.
How To Use
Use this versatile blend whenever you want great BBQ flavor. It makes a terrific dry rub for Smoked Ribs and would add some savory heat to Cherry Balsamic BBQ Sauce. It’s terrific on Beef Brisket, but is also at home in Black Bean Burgers. Swap it in as the main seasoning when making Chili Marinated Pork for a sweet twist, or add to Charred Corn Pasta Salad for a dose of depth and a touch of heat.
When first trying a blend, we recommend using 1 Tablespoon of dry rub per pound of meat.
This blend is appropriate for ribs, dry rubs, chicken, beef, pork, or tofu, and on sturdy vegetables like corn, okra, potatoes, cauliflower, eggplant, and sweet potatoes.
