All American Dry Rub
All American Dry Rub
All-American Dry Rub, also referred to as American rub, all-American seasoning, all-American rub, all-American BBQ rub or all-American spice blend, is a pungent, hearty, MSG-free seasoning blend. It is a hearty blend that goes well with heavier meat, like beef and game.
This blend was developed in collaboration with a local barbecue pitmaster and avid game hunter who would periodically visit our facility to talk spices and take in the aromas. To execute his vision for an all-around seasoning blend that would work in meats like venison, we took his suggestions for how to season wild game, created three blends, and let him choose his favorite.
Businesses that frequently purchase our All-American Dry Rub include BBQ, brewpub and steak house restaurants; olive oil shops; independent spice shops; seasoning companies; and companies that manufacture dip mixes.
Flavor Profile
Smoky, earthy, and sweet, with a touch of citrus and a little bit of heat.
How To Use
All-American Dry Rub was developed with game in mind, but it can easily be swapped in to make this recipe for Grilled Chicken Wings. Use it to smoke Lexington-Style BBQ Pork shoulder or tender, flavorful Smoked Ribs. Mix it into a Classic Burger with Cheese. Vegetarian customers can use it on Grilled Portobello Mushroom Burgers or in Savory Corn Fritters.
Use All-American Dry Rub as an all-purpose rub on venison, elk, beef, pork, wild turkey, and wings. It can be used in soups, stews, chili, gravies, sauces, brisket, and sausage.
