Moroccan Vegetable Rub
Moroccan Vegetable Rub
Moroccan Vegetable Rub is salt-free, MSG-free, aromatic and pungent seasoning blend. It is also known as Moroccan rub, Moroccan vegetable seasoning, or Moroccan vegetable spices.
Thanks to Morocco’s position at the western edge of the Mediterranean Sea and a mere 8 nautical miles from Spain’s southern tip, Morocco has been at the crossroads of civilization for more than 2,000 years. Its cuisine reflects the influence of the global spice trade, as it incorporates a vast array of spices and herbs.
This flavorful blend is popular with:
- independent spice shops;
- olive oil shops; and
- seasoning companies
We also have Organic Moroccan Vegetable Seasoning available.
Flavor Profile
Moroccan Vegetable Rub tastes warm, earthy, sweet, and spicy.
How to Use
Moroccan Vegetable Rub is the star ingredient in this hearty African Vegetable Stew. It is wonderful in Tomato and Rice Soup, or toss Moroccan Vegetable Rub over oven-baked fries for a pungent kick. Swap this in to a deliciously rich eggplant Imam Bayildi. Try using it beyond the vegetable too. Make it the seasoning in Chicken and Butternut Squash Pizza, stir into Chicken Tagine or make spicy Shrimp Tapas.
Moroccan Vegetable Rub is excellent on corn on the cob, cauliflower, and broccoli. We love this on roasted root vegetables and tubers such as carrots, celery roots, onions, parsnips, potatoes, sweet potatoes, and turnips.
