Organic Everything Bagel Seasoning
Organic Everything Bagel Seasoning
Bagels are one of the most popular food products around the world, easily adapted into many cuisines globally. With humble origins as a Jewish food product, the bagel has transformed into one of the symbols of New York City, as well as a classic component to a full breakfast spread.
Our Organic Everything Bagel Seasoning is sure to please and remind you of those homey mornings where you got up late and lazy only to pop a bagel into the toaster and then curl up on the couch to enjoy it under a sea of blankets.
The Story of Organic Everything Bagel Seasoning
Bagels in general have an air of mystery surrounding their invention, but the everything bagel is the most mysterious of all. It was apparently the invention of a fifteen-year-old boy working in a bakery in the 1980s. While the story has not really been contested, it's never been proven either.
Either way, everything bagels exploded onto the scene and gained popularity in the United States rapidly, with their popularity never waning. Instead, this bagel became one of the defining foods of one of the most popular cities in the world, New York City. As some have said, when you think of foods that define New York City, thinking of everything bagels is one of your better options. This flavor was even one of the trending flavors in food culture in the United States in 2016. There was even an everything bagel flavored potato chip just recently!
Our conventional version of this everything bagel seasoning is super flavorful and quite popular, so we wanted to be sure we had an organic selection available for anyone who wants to enjoy this classic flavor organically. It was an easy choice to get working on this seasoning blend, as our conventional version was a near instant hit. As our selection of organic spices grows, we like to keep our organic seasoning blend selection growing, too.

This seasoning blend is even great with cottage cheese. Take a heaping scoop of cottage cheese and add just a pinch or two of the organic everything bagel seasoning. The crunch from the seasoning blend is wonderful with the softer texture of the cheese, making for a fascinating flavor experience.
This blend is great with many different dishes, including smoked salmon or other fish dishes. It's even good on hot dogs! Put some in your bun before you add your hot dog and other toppings and be surprised by the lovely flavor this will add to the savory hot dog and sweeter bun.
A recipe we love to make with this seasoning blend is our Soft Pretzel recipe. The everything bagel flavor takes these pretzels to another level with zero effort from you. Just use this blend instead of a kosher salt to top the pretzels and voila.
Helpful Hints
Use less of this seasoning than you think you will need because it is extremely flavorful! It's easy to overdo it with this blend especially, since it is so delicious.
