Sicilian Bread Dipping Seasoning, also known as Sicilian seasoning, Sicilian spice blend recipe or Sicilian spices, is a salt-free and MSG free seasoning blend.

Dipping bread in seasoned oil is commonly done in American-based Italian restaurants, often as a complementary amuse-bouche. The oil can be mixed with a blend like this one, or presented with balsamic vinegar on the side.

Sicilian Bread Dipping Seasoning is popular with seasoning companies; olive oil shops; independent spice shops; dip mix and kettle corn manufacturers; American restaurants; food trucks; and caterers.

Flavor Profile

Sicilian Bread Dipping Seasoning is savory with herbaceous, spicy, smoky, fruity undertones.

How To Use

Sicilian Bread Dipping Seasoning is a classic addition to our favorite meat, cheese and pasta dish, Baked Ziti. Use this when making bright and savory Sicilian Cod. It’s the key to easy vegetarian Garbanzo Bean Salad, and a Mediterranean-inspired version of Louisiana’s classic Chicken Muffuletta

To make seasoned olive oil, mix 3 tablespoons of our salt-free Sicilian Bread Dipping Seasoning with 1/2 cup of your favorite olive oil. Let it set for about 30 minutes to allow the seasonings to fully marry with the olive oil.

Stir into dough, vinaigrettes, and marinades. Rub over cheese logs for holiday snacks, or toss over chicken, fish, or tofu and roast. Sprinkle over hummus or baba ghanoush. Serve as a topping for flatbread with sauteed spinach and caramelized onions.
