Gingerspice Walnuts
These nuts are a great snack for holiday parties and are attractive when packaged into mason jars and wrapped for holiday gifts. They're easy and simple to make but have an outstanding flavor that is perfect for the season.
They taste a little like a gingersnap and have a warm spicy flavor.

Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon Ground Cloves
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Ginger Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper Medium Grind
- 1 teaspoon Organic Ground Vietnamese Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 1 teaspoon Cayenne Chile Powder
- 1 teaspoon Ground Jamaican Allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon Ground Mace
- 12 ounces walnuts
Instructions:
- In a medium saucepan on medium heat, combine molasses, brown sugar and water.
- Simmer until the mixture becomes thick and syrupy.
- Add spices, mix to incorporate. Mixture should 'foam' slightly.
- Turn off the heat and add the walnuts to the syrup and spice mixture.
- Stir to coat walnuts.
- Spread on a cookie sheet and let cool before serving.
