Austin Steak Rub
Austin Steak Rub
Austin Steak Rub, with its complex flavor and texture, is called Texas steak seasoning, best steak rub, or best dry rub for steak.
We created Austin Steak Rub to encompass the grandeur of famous Austin steakhouses and highlight the great flavor found in affordable beef cuts. Since everything is bigger in Texas, we wanted to ensure this rub had a big taste that would match the mystique.
Our Austin Steak Rub is blended in small batches in our facility to guarantee that we ship the freshest blends possible. Independent spice stores, olive oil shops, and caterers regularly purchase it.
Flavor Profile
Austin Steak Rub leads with salt and onion. Garlic comes in after that, followed by peppery herbaceousness. It finishes with touches of heat and fruit from the different chile flakes.
How To Use
This steak rub was designed with beef in mind, so rub it on flank steaks when you make Steak Tacos or choose an affordable cut and use it to season Flat Iron Steaks. Coat a pot roast with Austin Steak Rub, set it, and bask in the comfort of a Slow Cooker Pot Roast. Mix it into a Classic Burger with Cheese, or make your vegetarian friends happy and stir this into some Black Bean Burgers. This is a great rub to blend into meatballs or minced kebabs like Longganisa. It would also be a terrific blend in Aromatic Herbed Chicken or season hearty Savory Stuffed Mushrooms.
A top-quality steak rub is coarser than a standard seasoning blend and should be more liberally applied. Use two tablespoons of this rub with every pound of steak for even coverage and flavor distribution.
Use only half a tablespoon per pound if you use this rub on fish or poultry. It may overpower the flavor of the fish if too much product is used on it.
